*Sorry, tickets for this workshop are now sold out*
What better way to celebrate than with a beautiful, individual wreath decoration? Your guests will be impressed that you made it yourself; no need to tell them that you had a little help from a professional!
We are delighted that local florist, Natasha B, is bringing her years of experience to Hambrooks to share her festive skills with our customers and friends.
At each workshop, Natasha will provide everything you need to create your own hanging seasonal wreath, including a 30cm wire frame, wire for binding, moss and seasonal foliage, decorations (such as fir cones, dried fruit and wooden ornaments) and a choice of ribbon (please select when booking your ticket). Natasha will demonstrate each stage of the process and support you through each step. We are deliberately limiting numbers at each workshop to ensure you have plenty of time and attention.
Whether you are a complete beginner or have some craft or floristry experience, we guarantee you will take away a wreath you will be proud to hang on your front door!
You may choose to wear light gardening gloves for the workshop if you prefer, although they are not essential. Please bring secateurs or strong scissors for cutting stems to length, or they are available to purchase from Hambrooks on the day.
The workshop will take place inside the Garden Centre so under cover but please do dress warmly and we recommend warm, comfy shoes. Please remember this is a practical workshop so be prepared to get hands on and perhaps a little messy. We will provide a hot drink during the workshop but you are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks if you wish. Hambrooks Plant Centre is an accessible site. We have accessible toilets and plenty of parking on site.

Create the perfect table centre-piece or welcoming sideboard arrangement for the festive season!
Friend of Hambrooks, qualified local florist Natasha B, will be returning with this latest craft project. Under Natasha’s guidance, you will be provided with all the materials you will need to construct a beautiful Christmas-themed table centre, including a selection of fresh flowers and foliage, coloured ribbons and some lovely ornaments to choose from. Natasha will guide you through each step and you have plenty time to work on your own creation.
Whether you have done any flower arranging before or fancy trying something new, we guarantee you will come away with a finished make you can be proud of – and the start of a new tradition!

Please bring secateurs or strong scissors for cutting stems to length, or they are available to purchase from Hambrooks on the day. Your arrangement will be constructed in oasis (florist’s foam) so should be reasonably stable to transport home.

A terrarium is a ‘miniature garden’ planted inside a small (usually sealed) glass container. They are usually self-sustaining, a fully functioning mini-ecosystem, so are beautiful and easy to look after. Although originally a Victorian idea, it is probably their beauty, low-maintenance and modern style containers that have seen their recent return to popularity.
In our hands-on workshop, qualified florist Natasha B will take you through assembly your own terrarium. She will have all the plants and compost materials you will need included in the price of the workshop; you can either bring your own glass container to use or she will have a simple selection to choose from on the day, included in the course price.
Natasha will also take you through the after-care advice, to ensure that your terrarium thrives when you take it home. (And please think about how you will safely transport it home!)
