Flowers and abstracts hosted by Sally Golden Photography.

I teach you how to make the most out of what you already have (both from a skills perspective and the technology you possess) to capture beautiful, high-quality images.

All of my workshops are a mixture of teaching and doing. They are hands-on, and you will leave with a heightened understanding of photography and a renewed sense of confidence to snap images.

The workshop is interactive, and we talk about composition – lots of different ways to improve a picture and considerations when you are taking the shot. Before your know it, you will be critiquing my photos.

Talking through various images, how and why I took the photo the way I did.

Why a picture can look so much better than another almost identical shot.

Editing tools – auto filters and manual filters and lots and lots of tips and tricks along the way.

willow basket

Hambrooks are delighted to welcome craftswoman Mollie McMillen to our Titchfield Centre.  Under her keen guidance, delegates will learn how to make a basket from a variety of natural materials.

This workshop is a celebration of the many plant materials growing in our hedgerows, woodlands and gardens which we can use to make frame baskets of great beauty. A truly sensory course working with natural hand foraged materials such as willow, dog wood, ivy and hazel. Each material has its own unique properties, texture, smell and colour. With patient, expert tuition from Mollie, you will go home with a beautiful woven frame basket.  Whether you want to put it to functional use or simply hang it up and admire it, your basket will be a unique talking point in your home or garden.

Mollie will share her tips on how you can keep your basket looking its best for as long as possible.  The materials Mollie uses are locally sourced, sustainably grown and (where applicable) foraged with permission.
