Job Title: Landscape Garden Designer, Sales & Project Manager

Location: Curdridge, Southampton

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum

Job type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for candidates with sales experience who have a strong interest and passion for Gardening & Design. You would get to work within an experienced Design Team, providing potential clients with reliable and workable solutions for their garden projects.

Key Duties:

Estimating, Design & Sales – To convert enquiry leads into live projects by:

Understanding the client’s requirements
Providing clients with solutions for their gardens and presenting these ideas through detailed drawings or computer aided design
Providing the clients with competitive quotes, whilst maintaining profit margin
Selling our products and services
Achieving sales budgets and profits

Project Management:

Managing staff on site, overseeing workmanship
Providing clear instructions
Managing health & safety and risk assessments
Following company procedures
Liasing with clients, suppliers and colleagues

About you:

Experience in sales and confidence in presenting ideas to clients
Experience of working as a Designer and/or have a garden design qualification
It is essential that you are computer literate and ideally have experience using CAD, KeySCAPE or Sketchup
Horticulture knowledge and/or a qualification
Must be based locally to SO32 2DA
Good interpersonal skills
Time management skills
Project Management experience
Meet deadlines
Positive and friendly ‘can do attitude’
Flexible
Problem solving
